You are cordially invited to attend the 2008 MTNA Performance Competitions
October 25, 2008.

 

Forty-nine talented young musicians from the State of Florida will be performing and competing at the state level of the MTNA national competitions at Hillsborough Community College-Ybor City (Tampa area) on Saturday, October 25, 2008 in the beautiful new Performing Arts Building on campus.

Date: October 24-25, 2008

Location:  Hillsborough Community College, Ybor City Campus

Directions:  Take Exit #1 off Interstate 4. Travel south on 21st Street, then turn right (west) on Palm Avenue until reaching the campus. Click here for a map of Ybor City campus and parking information.

Schedule: The three performance venues where the competitions will take place are:

  • The Main Stage Theater, the Black Box Theater and the Rehearsal Hall.

The schedule of performances is as follows:

      Entrée includes “1905” salad, Cuban bread and butter, Godiva Chocolate cake, coffee and tea.

 

Choose one entree:

  • Arroz con Pollo (Chicken baked with yellow rice, green peppers, Spanish onions, tomatoes, white wine and virgin olive oil. Topped with green peas and pimentos.

  • Boliche (Criollo) Eye round of beef stuffed with chorizo and roasted in a flavorful gravy. Served with black beans and white rice topped with onions and platanos

  • Vegetarian (black beans, white rice, mixed vegetables, and platanos)
